Organization Brief

Hold my Hands Organization is a not-for-profit organization established and registered in Kenya.
Background: The organization was registered to meet the holistic educational needs gap noted and faced by less privileged and underprivileged children residing in identified informal settlements and rural areas of Kenya.
The genesis was drawn from a tutoring/mentorship experience with one student which later led to adoption, professional mentorship and successful enrolment of the boy to secondary school and later university. These attracted friends and other stakeholders who ‘adopted’ boys and girls thus securing their sits in class every year for eight years of their primary school life for at least 70 students.
ii. What we do, We partner with schools in informal settlements and rural areas to identify needy and underprivileged children who are taken through a screening process with the assistance of social workers and related stakeholders in the community. They are then connected ‘adopted’ by professional mentors either individually and or organizations who offer support either financially and or otherwise that ensures the holistic development of the child.
